Rental info
Because we are still giving the last loving touches to Cova, we haven't yet promoted it on any holiday rental platforms. You have a rare chance to be one of the first families enjoying this wonderful house. Available from Sunday (3 pm) to Sunday (10 am) or longer stays.
The house is semi-detached but completely private. The only people that you "might" see are my partner and I. We would be there in case you need any questions answered, otherwise minding our own space. The pool would just be for your use.
Santa Catarina town is seven mins drive. It has two minimarkets, a bakery loved by local expats and a few local restaurants. The famous towns or Olhão and Tavira are both a 20 mins drive. From there you can also take a ferry to visit their beautiful Islands a throw stone away. There are also many beaches to pick up from, all between 20 and 40 mins drive. The historical city of Faro is also a nice destination and there are boat tours to view dolphins, kayaking, etc all around these towns.

Cova do Coração, "Cave of the Heart" is a Farmhouse situated in a little hamlet on the beautiful hills in the County of Tavira, Algarve.
The house is only 40 mins drive from Faro Airport and it has been lovingly restored with rural elegance and attention to beauty.
"Cova" as we like calling it, has four bedrooms. All of which can be made into twin rooms, or remain as large double beds so the house can sleep up to 8 plus a cot. Two bedrooms are ensuite and the other two share a bathroom. The house has a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen, a cosy sitting room furnished mostly with antique furniture, tables around the house for you to enjoy making art, having tea or table games. It also has an external kitchen with a BBQ for your enjoyment.
If you would like to hire it for a small yoga retreat, we also have a wonderful yoga platform (and great quality equipment) on the hills. Separate costs apply.
Seated on 8 acres of land, there are plentiful walking paths either on the hills or along the riverbank. The house has lovely landscaped areas, a wonderful outdoor shower and a delicious 6 x 4 Mts swimming pool. One area is shallow enough for children to play, and the other end is 2.10 Metres deep.
